Our Raw Macadamia Nut "seconds" are "okay" nuts but are “discoloured”( eg.not white enough and this year they have more grey/green/brown discolouring) or have spots from shield bug damage and other blemishes (bits of shell lining etc.). They can be quite unattractive to look at but mostly still taste fine and are great for grinding up for nut butter, pesto, dukkah, nut milk and of course to use in baking and cooking. Use these nuts to replace any other white nuts in your favourite recipes. They are not so good for eating straight as they are inconsistent in flavour and some have a slightly bitter after taste.

We only open 1 nitrogen sealed foil bag at a time, as we need them, to bag on into 1 kg bags to keep nuts as fresh as possible. They need to be kept in a cool, dry, dark and airtight place for maximum shelf life.
These nuts were picked at our South Head Macadamia Orchard June - September 2020 They were processed and packaged by an Organically Certified and Licensed Premise, in July/October 2020.
All prices are GST inclusive. A GST Tax Invoice will be provide to bulk purchasers.
We have large sized nitrogen flushed aluminium foil bags available for purchase as a whole bag. The foil bags of Raw Macadamia Nuts range in size from 7.5kgs to 8.5kgs and are ideal for small commercial bakeries, cafes, restaurants or food Co-Ops etc. This price is only available if you purchase the whole bag - we can not break the large bag down into smaller packs at these prices.
